4 Weekend Adventure: KOI Cafe

I should have gone to KOI Cafe yesterday, but it was raining in the afternoon and I was so sleepy all day. That's why my weekend adventure has been moved today. I made my time to go to this well-known bubble tea cafe.

2 What's up with KOI cafe?

KOI Cafe Bubble Tea -- first heard it when I was already about 3 months staying here in Singapore. My colleague told me that this one is better than what I normally drink, like Each a Cup and Sweet Talk. He also told me that you would need at least 30 minutes to buy one. It was unbelievable when I saw a branch in Tampines, the queue was looooong(whew!). I didn't even consider buying because I would be late for work after lunch.

5 Universal Studios Singapore: the Weekend Adventure part 2

The following events happened earlier on our trip to Universal Studios Singapore(I will put it as USS, so I don't have to type the full name again and again. :-P) last February 19, 2011. 0 No Weekend Adventure today

This week, I didn't get to go to St. James Power Station due to some unforeseen circumstances. We just went to the New Bugis Street to shop with my cousin who's going home later this week.  I don't have the photographs during that trip so I can't show you here the huge crowd shopping during that time.

0 Bugis Street: the next Weekend Adventure

This weekend, we're planning to go to New Bugis Street. It's a widely known shopping street in Singapore. We're going with my cousin who will buy some pasalubongs before going back to the Philippines. He will go back by next week, so this is the perfect time to shop some gifts that are budget-friendly. Details to follow on later.

0 Off to our first Weekend Adventure!

Today's the day we're going to Universal Studios Singapore.My first time, but I think not my last. My sis tells me that I'd enjoy the Shrek show and The Mummy Returns ride. I don't know. Let's see. I'm not much a fan of rides and thrills, but I think this time it will be ought to be good. It's Universal Studios, nonetheless.

Today's also my first ever Weekend Adventure. I will be going around Singapore more, traveling around, looking for unique places, and good food, on Saturdays. This will be a regular activity of mine, for a number of reasons.

0 The Weekend Adventure is almost here!

Another misfortune. I didn't win last night's draw. When I arrived at home, there was no double episode of How I Met Your Mother. There was only Grammy awards, which I didn't watch. Earlier, I went to Swensen's to buy something for my sis as a Valentine's Day gift and as usual the queue is very long. It took me 25 minutes to wait before they gave me may take-away order.
