It's almost 2011! Just a few hours to go before New Year. My wife and I decided to celebrate our first New Year in Marina Bay. There will be fireworks display after the countdown in the area. We agreed to go there since MRT and bus services will be extended. MRT will be running until 2am and the night bus at around 5am. This will be a big help so that we will have a more convenient option to go home rather than competing for a taxi with other several thousands of people.
There are also new spots where people can choose to view the fiery display of lights. Here's a list of good spots to view the fireworks:

- Steps of the Marina Square

If you're planning to take pictures using your SLR cameras with tripods, I suggest you go there as early as possible to claim a good spot. For point-and-shoots, around Marina Bay area will do. As for me, I'll be using my hand phone camera to take pictures of the event. Watch out for the update tomorrow or the next day.
