2 An Open Letter

Click. That was fast.

Three weeks have passed. I didn't noticed the time.

Three weeks ago, we just arrived here. With smiles and hopes that we will have a great time together with our baby, still on her tummy. We planned to go here and there, visiting famous places around Singapore. We planned going together and having a good time and enjoying each other's company.

The days started to pass by lightning fast. It felt like time suddenly accelerated that hours seems seconds to me. It came to a point that I would not want to go to sleep just to spend more time with her. Several days isn't enough to go around and see all the places. And although we haven't visited all the places we've planned visiting, we had a great time. Some of the things didn't go the way we thought, but that's okay.

Earlier this morning when I woke up, I thought: "This is the last several hours I would be with her. What would I do with those hours?" When I went to the shower, I was singing: "'..cause I'm leaving on a jet plane..." She's going back to Manila. I will be left here again alone without her. During the taxi ride to the airport, the an old song playing on the radio that goes: "Babe, I'm leaving.. I must be on my way..." It felt like you're skin had been cut with a dull knife, and then someone goes to you and pours some alcohol in your wound. Ouch!

It was hard to hold up the tears, and thankfully they didn't fell while I'm waving goodbye. I don't want her to see me crying.

She boarded the 2:20PM flight and arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 15 minutes ahead of schedule.

Goodbye to you, for now, my beloved partner. My sparring partner at Tekken 6, my partner in life. You know I will miss you so much. See you on May.
